Taiwan Mobile to pay $1 bln for Carlyle’s TV business

TAIPEI, Sept 16 (Reuters) - Taiwan Mobile plans to
pay T$32.8 billion ($1 billion) to acquire Carlyle Group's
[CYL.UL] Taiwanese cable TV business, the mobile carrier said in
a statement on Wednesday.
