Impossible1942 Hi, I have send my business plan to sequoia capital a month ago. But they haven’t reply yet. So is it good for me that they take time or is it a bad signal for my business plan. Ihave even send a follow-up mail for a response three day ago but they haven’t answer yet.
Have somebody of you have handle with sequoia capital yet. Tell me your opinion.

Curious Hi everyone! I have a job interview this evening and the only aspect of the job that I feel a bit weak in is the knowledge of financial terms and main ideas of the private equity and venture capital world.
Can anyone give me a list of key terms and brief definitions?
Any good websites that clearly explain this sector of the finance world?

Okay so say I have a business idea and I tell the VC and they give me ALL OR SOME OF THE MONEY to start the business and I STILL GET A LOT OF EQUITY IN IT. WHY wouldn’t the venture capital fund just use that money since they have to pay most or all to open it themselves and then they would own it all think about it same amount of money with 100% equity why?

We have a good web20 site. There are unique services and clear non-Ads business model on the site. Our weak spot is that our company is located in the Russia. The local venture capital is small.

I am someone who has a good business ideas that would require start up funding. Venture Capital would be a good start but I DO NOT POSSESS THE REQUIRED PRESENTATION SKILLS to present the idea(s) to investors. Could not put together a good business plan by myself and probably could not give speech in front of a group of investors if i had to. Any suggestions on how to get around this?
